Centennial Olympic Park with Fountain of Rings – “The Fountain of Rings is the centerpiece of Centennial Olympic Park and is one of the most recognized and photographed landmarks in Georgia. It’s free to view the Fountain of Rings show, which plays four times a day, 365 days a year, at 12:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.”
The Contemporary Art Center – Free on Thursdays from 11 AM – 8 PM –Â The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center exhibits consequential contemporary works by local, regional, national and international artists
Federal Reserve Bank Money Museum – Tour the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta and learn that money doesn’t grow on trees.

Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church – “Martin Luther King, Jr., was baptized as a child in the church. After giving a trial sermon to the congregation at Ebenezer at the age of 19 Martin was ordained as a minister. In 1960 Dr. King, Jr. became a co-pastor of Ebenezer with his father, “Daddy” King. He remained in that position until his death in 1968. As a final farewell to his spiritual home Dr. King, Jr.’s funeral was held in the church.”
Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum – Free for students 16 years old and under. “The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum is part of the Presidential Library system administered by the National Archives and Records Administration, a Federal government agency.”
Martin Luther King, Jr Center for Non-Violent Change – “The King Library and Archives in Atlanta is the largest repository of primary source materials on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the American Civil Rights Movement in the world. The collection consists of the papers of Dr. King and those of the organization he co-founded, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, as well as the records of 8 major civil rights organizations and of several individuals active in the Movement.”
Piedmont Park – “Piedmont Park is the premier green space and central gathering place of Atlanta with postcard views of the Midtown Atlanta skyline. The picturesque park features a walking/jogging path, picnic facilities, playgrounds, tennis courts, public swimming pool, two ponds, and dog park.”
Sweet Auburn District – “The Sweet Auburn Historic District reflects the history, heritage and achievements of Atlanta’s African-Americans. Auburn Avenue was once dubbed the richest black street in America by FORTUNE magazine.”
