Traveling has been a tremendous learning experience!”

We sincerely want the same for you – long lasting positive memories with your  family and friends. It’s even our mission!

Today we are featuring Ann Prinkey, our company president and fearless leader! Ann knows the ins and outs of every job in every department at Scholastica because she has held them all during her 30+ years with the company. Scholastica is in great hands with her at the helm!

Q: What would you like to do when you go there?

A: Explore the islands, take in the sites, enjoy a luau, and relax at the beach.

Q: Do you prefer to travel for adventure or relaxation?

A: Both!

Q:  What are some of your favorite travel memories or experiences?

A:   I will never forget the road trip my family took to the Pacific Ocean when I was a teenager. We traveled the northern states en route to California and traveled the southern states en route home. We visited many of our nations wonderful sites and parks. My favorites were Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and staying at a camp ground in Wyoming. I loved hearing the sounds of country music and the rodeo in the background! I will always cherish these memories made with my family.

Q: What advice can you offer to travelers who want to make their travel dreams a reality?

A: Take advantage when the opportunity arises. Research the areas that you’re interested in traveling, which always gets me excited to book that dream trip! I love looking at our travel brochures and websites of the various places. Establish a budget and a a savings and payment plan to make your travel dream a reality.
