Happy Teacher Resource Monday! Today’s resource is a New York City scavenger hunt!
New York City is always an exciting place to visit. Use this scavenger hunt booklet to capture memories, increase learning, and further engagement. The booklet is divided into popular places to see in New York City. Each site includes a few fast facts, items to search for, and questions. Increase the fun of your trip by providing this free scavenger hunt to your students.
Encourage students to take photos during their scavenger hunt so that they can document what they find! During the adventure, have students tweet their photos to @ScholasticaInc or post on our Facebook page. We love to share their findings with other awesome explorers.
Points are allocated for each object or question. At the end of the trip, students can add up all their points from the completed challenges. There are worksheets throughout to tally the points. Each student or team that submits their scavenger hunt photos and their total points to Scholastica Travel will receive an official Scholastica Travel Explorer Certificate!
