Security Update

By November 19, 2015 No Comments

November 19, 2015  10:00 AM – Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the victims and families of those in the Paris tragedy last week. Our first priority always has been and will continue to be the safety of our travelers.  We have been closely monitoring the recent global events as well as updates and alerts from all of our destination cities and sites. At this time, all aspects of our upcoming trips have been deemed safe.

During our 35 years in business, we have experienced a number of national emergency situations.   Scholastica Travel always has and will continue to take needed safety measures on all tours.

However,  we understand the apprehension you may be experiencing regarding your tour. We are parents and educators first and will never compromise the safety and peace of mind of  any of our travelers. If your group does not feel comfortable traveling on your scheduled dates, there are a few options available.

Consider Rescheduling to Alternate Dates

  • Look ahead at the school calendar. Are there other dates of the year that would work for this trip? Contact your Scholastica Travel consultant and discuss rescheduling. Many of our trip suppliers are very accommodating and will work with your school to rebook, pending their availability on your chosen dates.

Cancel the School Trip

  • If your group is left with no other option than to cancel, our team will do everything possible to receive full or partial refunds from our suppliers. Your safety comes first!

As always, Scholastica Travel is dedicated to the safety and peace of mind of ALL travelers. We will continue to be thorough in our efforts of monitoring the safety of our travel destinations and assessing the needs of our travelers in the days and weeks ahead.  We will update with more information as needed on our website and Facebook page .
