It’s a wonderful time of year. School is winding down, the days are longer, and the sun is shining. Summer is right around the corner. To all teachers, we hope that you really enjoy your summer. You truly deserve this time of rejuvenation. Thank you for another year of dedication to your classroom. We are in awe of your tireless efforts to foster the personal and intellectual growth of your students. Again, thank you.
We want to thank all of the teachers who traveled with us this year. Thank you for giving this opportunity to your students. Your diligence and thoughtful preparation made everything possible. It is certain that you created long-lasting positive memories for your students. For many young adults, this was their first-time traveling without their parents. What a tremendous opportunity to grow in independence. For others, this was their first-time leaving their hometown or state. You gave them the opportunity to grow in acceptance, to learn that other people in the world live differently and that that is OK. Perhaps at your school each student was required to meet certain academic and discipline expectations to partake in the trip. Thank you for stretching your students, for encouraging a strong work ethic, and for helping them to appreciate that traveling is an opportunity to be cherished. Thank you for recognizing that traveling is just as much about personal growth as it is about experiencing the history and culture of a destination.
You invested your time and energy to expose students to what is possible. We cannot thank you enough.
