Our school is very diverse as our students represent 32 different countries and 39 different languages from around the world.  Most of our students know very little about the place they now call “home”, Morgantown, West Virginia!

Our goal for the 4th & 5th TAG students with the “Uniquely West Virginia” field trip was to showcase the breathtaking natural beauty of the Mountain State while infusing history, science, and West Virginia’s rich cultural heritage.

Everything planned on this trip met our goals and was a HUGE hit with the students AND the parent chaperones. . . especially the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine, Tamarack:  The Best of West Virginia, the Greenbrier – America’s Resort, Lost World Caverns, Cass Scenic Railroad, Greenbank National Radio Telescope Observatory, Cranberry Glades, AND the incredible evening at Snowshoe Resort!!

Students and adults in and out of the state of West Virginia will be astounded at the quality experience this itinerary provides!  NOONE should pass up this truly exceptional and enriching trip through Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia!
