This 5-day San Diego marching band trip is filled with exciting performance opportunities. March in the Big Balloon Parade and perform at the Holiday Bowl halftime show! San  Diego  Marching  Band  Trip:  Day  1
Spend the day having fun in  Disneyland® Park & Disney’s California Adventure® Park!  Don’t miss the Mad Tea Party, Muppet Vision 3D, and Soarin’ Over California.

Lunch will be at a location of your choice in the parks.
After lunch, the chorus members will take part in the “Renaissance”- Excellence Workshop at Studio B.
Students will receive money in Disney Dollars for dinner.
In the evening, enjoy a  spectacular fireworks display at the park.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, the band will rehearse at a nearby high school. A box lunch will be provided
In the afternoon, visit the famous San Diego Zoo. Take the Skyfari Aerial Tram to the other side of the park and enjoy great views along the way.
Then explore Old Town San Diego. Peruse the many shops and take in the sights of this historic area. Cash will be provided for each student to eat at a restaurant of their choice.

Fuel up with breakfast at the hotel before departing for the parade performance.
Arrive at the staging area and set up.

Step off is at 9 o’clock. Your debut in the amazing Big Bay Balloon Parade has arrived. Soak in the sights and sounds as you march along with your band.
The excitement continues. Spend the afternoon at SeaWorld® Adventure Park. Enjoy lunch on your own as you explore the attractions, rides, and amazing shows.
The group will meet together for dinner at the Nautilus Pavilion & Polar Bear Plaza.
Awards will be presented after dinner followed by an evening dance at the Nautilus Pavilion.

After breakfast, take part in the final dress rehearsal at a local high school. A box lunch will be provided.
It’s time for the big performance! Arrive at Qualcomm Stadium for the Holiday Bowl Game.  Set up and do a final warm up. Box dinner will be included.
Watch the pre-game show and enjoy the first half of the game.
Then, take to the field for the halftime show performance! Experience the thrill of being in front of thousands!
Return to the hotel after the game.
